Queensland Charter Vessel Association is developing a Internet
site promoting the best Queensland has to offer in fishing,
boating, diving and calm water tours. Launching in late June,
the new qcva.com.au will include a directory of marine tour
operators, destination profiles, regular articles on what
is happening in the State and suggestions for accommodation,
tours and events.
Northern Expedition
Undersea Explorer out of Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland
has become renowned for its research expeditions where recreational
divers work along side scientists to better understand and
preserve the reef. Offering liveaboard expeditions to some
of the Great Barrier Reef's unspoilt outer reefs, Undersea

Marlin Fleet Readies For Season
Come August many of the renowned marlin crews will have moved
their vessels north to start the 2005 Marlin Season in
the
sailfish hotspot of Townsville's Cape Bowling Green. During
September they will fish one of the many tournaments along
the tropical North Queensland coast before basing themselves
from luxury motherships and Lizard Island to chase the
giant
