QCVA Eco Source
QCVA Eco Source has been devised from the need to assist the aquatic
tourism industry in actively participating in environmental management,
improve its position in the decision making process and adapt to
changes in the operational environment. To be launched in early
2005 by the Queensland Charter Vessel Association, it will be a
joint innovative with the Australian Marinelife Institute and Industry
Stakeholders.
Managed by the Australian Marinelife Institute,
QCVA Eco Source will provide Queensland’s aquatic tourism
industry with an online resource centre supporting best practice
implementation,
improved client interpretative programmes and industry-based training
products.
Accessible by all stakeholders in Queensland’s
aquatic tourism industry, benefits to Members of the Queensland
Charter Vessel
Association will include regular Eco Source newsletters, access
to a range of fact sheets and training products, and discounts
on Australian Marinelife Institute managed environmental management
and interpretative programmes.
